About Me

Born and raised in Connecticut, Amy began her professional career in the insurance industry in Hartford, where she earned many promotions and held several high level management positions in the healthcare, legal, and business system areas. Soon after having her children, Amy started her own business in the health and fitness industry with a desire to help people improve their health and live life to the fullest. Now many years later, it remains a successful, thriving business working with people from all over the world. The longevity of her business success is a testament to Amy’s work-ethic, diligence, business and people skills.

Amy and her husband David realized their lifelong goal of living in Florida in 2015, when together with their 2 children, they relocated to beautiful Sarasota and fell in love with life on the gulf coast and all that it has to offer. Amy’s new neighbor, a Realtor who listed the house Amy purchased, mentioned that she should consider becoming a Realtor. Knowing this would combine her love of working with people, her passion for the gulf coast and the many business strengths acquired in her successful career endeavors, it wasn’t long before Amy entered the real estate industry and joined Michael Saunders & Company as a Licensed Realtor at their St. Armands Circle office.

Over the years, Amy has worked with many buyers and sellers across all price points. Knowledgeable and efficient, Amy consistently provides her clients with successful real estate experiences through effective communication, extensive market knowledge, attention to detail and excellent negotiation skills. Amy has sold property on the gulf coast from Apollo Beach to Englewood and has vast knowledge of all locations in between, including Lakewood Ranch, Venice, and Sarasota’s barrier islands. Her proficiency and experience allow Amy to assist her clients in making informed decisions and reaching their real estate goals.

Having successfully relocated herself, Amy is an excellent advisor for her out of state clients and has earned the Leading RE Relocation Specialist designation. In addition, Amy also earned Leading RE’s Service Expert designation and was honored with the Masters Award for outstanding volume by Michael Saunders.

Amy and her family believe it is important to give back and serve their community and have volunteered countless hours for various organizations and nonprofits. Amy is a Founding Board Member, former Vice President and currently serving as a member of the Grants Leadership Team of Impact100 SRQ. She has volunteered at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and also gives her time and talent to assist several community projects. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying the beautiful beaches and activities in Sarasota, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning sitting “behind the glass” at many home games.
